i had the grades to go anywhere but i chose UH bc of the business program.  If I had the chance to do it all over again, I would definitely choose UT.  I grew up a horn fan and I will always be a horn fan.

No, Hill, the DALLAS cowboys represent DALLAS, not Texas. Where as the University of Texas, or Texas Tech, or Texas A&M or any number of other state schools, including UH, represent, and are comprised of kids from, the state of Texas.

There are exceptions to every rule, and some in state rivalries are more bitter than others, I just always felt that the inter-school rivalries in Texas (with the possible exclusion of A&M and Tech) were a little bit more civil and we could cheer for each other to do well when not playing each other. You know, in the spirit of state pride and all.

If the SEC wants to root for out of state schools that are rivals so be it.

Just thought our state was better than all that Auburn/Alabama vitriolic hatred.
