Week 2 of the nook era....

Was not able to take the nook on our camping trip the first week as the protective
case/coverI ordered separately (on Amazon no less!)  had not arrived yet. So this
is actually my first full week with it.

Random thoughts/observations...
- e-ink is way cool. Even in full sun, the reader is very readable. Just like a real life book!

- Make sure you have good 3g coverage to download the books. Even though the nook
has a wi-fi feature, it does drain the battery much faster, so I keep that turned off. I've
only had to charge it once since the original battery charging.

- One dislike is not being able to look at the cover of a book as easily as a real book.
(This is just a personal preference given my choice of reading material.)

- And on that same note, with an e-reader, no one can see what I am reading! No more
eye rolls about my choice of reading material from family/friends/random strangers.

- Another potential like: reading while knitting! There are a lot of choices for covers/cases
not only for colors, but in styles too. I got a flip cover that has a feature to keep it propped
up. So far, it does look like Amazon has cheaper and more varied options than the BN site
or even store has for covers/cases.

Hope this helps for those trying to make decisions. If you have more specific questions
and such, just ask here or DM me.
